What to Expect
Consultation & Treatment Planning
Your dentist evaluates your bone density, gum health, and overall oral health to determine if you are a good candidate for implants. A personalized treatment plan is created.
Implant Placement
A small titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia. This post acts as an artificial tooth root. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.
Osseointegration (Healing)
Over the next 3–6 months, the implant fuses with the surrounding bone. This creates a strong, stable foundation for the final restoration.
Abutment Placement
Once the implant has fully integrated, a small connector piece called an abutment is attached to the implant post.
Crown Placement
A custom-made porcelain crown is attached to the abutment, completing your restoration. The crown is color-matched to your natural teeth.
